This page explains what Have I Enough? stores in your browser and the one optional analytics tool we use. In short: your retirement figures never leave your device, and nothing that tracks you loads unless you agree to it first.
Your plan stays in your browser
The planner runs entirely on your device. The details you enter — ages, pensions, savings, spending — are held in your browser’s local storage so your plan is still there when you come back. This is essential, functional storage: it is not shared with us or anyone else, and it is not used for tracking or advertising. Your figures only ever leave your browser if you explicitly choose to create a shareable snapshot.
Analytics — only with your consent
With your consent we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the planner is used through anonymised heatmaps and session replays. This helps us see which parts are confusing and improve them. Clarity sets its own cookies and is provided by Microsoft; text you type into form fields is masked. We rely on this data only in aggregate, and never to identify you.
The legal basis is your consent (UK GDPR / PECR). Clarity does not load at all until you choose “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you choose “Reject,” it is never loaded.
Changing your mind
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the link (in the footer, and here). Rejecting after previously accepting stops Clarity from loading on your next visit to the site.
